So much in progress at the moment, i don’t know which bits to continue or wait on.
I have been concentrating on my photography this last few weeks which has limited my restoration and building activities. If you want to take a look at my photography and photo blog it’s right here.
Here is what’s been recorded, going on, being worked on at the moment.
Block Plane Restoration
I’ve started to disassemble an old plane that is need of some serious TLC. Just checking what needs doing to it.
It is in a state. It has some screws embedded in it to keep it one piece, so they need removing and replacing with something better and a little more sympathetic. Video coming soon.
Photography Prop Building
Since i do a lot of photography, for work and also for my own artistic projects i sometimes make my own props. I am very keen on building my photography skills, and being free and creative really helps.
A number of things going on with the photography props at the moment. Keep an eye out here and on my photography blog for updates and finished articles.
Knife Build
I do enjoy building knifes. This is a new one being built with very cheap and cheerful hardware out of an old file.
I will be building a number of these, because 1. they are fun to build 2. they look awesome and 3. Im Learning a lot about the process.
There is a huge amount more on the list of things to do, and this blog is helping me to get through them.
My big restriction right now is not having a workshop to use, and either doing work outside when the weather allows or at the dining table when my wife allows.
